Ovarian Cysts and PCOS are two different conditions. I had ovarian cysts when I was 17 and the most obvious symptom I had was excruciating abdominal pain. My eldest sister has also had them multiple times and hers burst on a couple of occasions resulting in hospital admission and surgery.
yes defo have a scan if you haven't, it'll be able to tell them if you have. Not having periods is a common symtom and having bad skin and excess hair on your face and legs is another. It can be treated with a certian contraception pill but not sure which one but your doctor will be able to tell you.
it could be pcos i got told after i had a scan. I was having problems getting pregnant and went to the docs who booked the scan. I found looking at the nhs direct website helpful. Hope this helps
