After the sackings of the West Ham & Chelsea managers it does appear that the corridor of uncertainty is no longer the preserve of the bowler in cricket.Agree ?

I am no football fan, but if the managers and the players are treated like cattle, then all I can ask is next time I go travelling, can I go cattle class!

Chelsea have everything, money, fans, great players, fantastic facilities and have had some of the greatest managers of the modern era.... what they lack is a chairman with patience, and the long term plan. It takes any manager normally 4 or 5 years to get his team the way he wants it (very few exceptions to that)...... this wont happen at chelsea while abramovich has the temperament of a spoilt 3 year old child....
