Where is the best place?

Where is the best place on the internet or otherwise to find information on an event that happened in May 1961. It was a fire in a nightclub that claimed many lives. It happened in Bolton, Lancashire. Thanks in advance.

I did a Google and found that the name of the club was the Top Storey Club. There are a few websites with info but a lot of them are Goverment type sites, don't know what sort of info you are looking for so best to Google this yourself and see if they have what you are looking for.

Are you in (or near) Bolton? Because this is likely to be something for which a quick trawl through actual physical printed back-issues of the local paper is likely to be your best bet. Try any large libraries in the area to see if they hold archives (or if the local papers themselves have an archive you can use).

Look on the Bolton Evening News website. I have a feeling they ran a feature on an anniversary of the fire.

You can search their archives back several years.
