What can I use to clean
a tarmac driveway. Tried a jetwash but it still looks brownish instead of blackish. Any suggestions to brighten it up?

Hi Doc.......... and Starbers........... if desperate, I guess you could always re-coat it. Bit of an old-fashioned solution, but you could Google "Colas" products in your area. Colas emulsion is the kind of stuff that is sprayed on roads before they're re-dressed with chippings. Would look like new then :o)
Update - Sara, wish I was as active, it is only in my mind and I employ the local lads, if I can find them. They are always looking for ways to make a bit of pocket money and the poor little sods have no chance of getting permanent work.
Rowan, don't worry, I decided against Jeyes fluid, the smell was too strong.
Builder and Heathfield, I finally found some stuff to paint tarmac, had to order it as it is not in general use and the lad up the road painted it on. It looks really good, although I expect it will soon mark with people walking on it etc. Thanks everyone, for your help.
