Single and plural

In English, usually we pluralise an item by adding the letter 's', eg. dog, dogs. But I read a quiz sheet (which didn't have any answers) which claimed that there is only one word in the English language which is singular with an 's' and is made plural by removing the 's'. Does anyone know the answer?

mmm...the plural form of cactus is cacti.

Thanks Sensei, but the word is supposed to be totally unchanged, ie. cactus changed to cactu...!!! Any other ideas?

A female millionaire is a millionairess. Drop the S, and you've got millionaires, plural.

CORPS, CHASSIS, BOURGEOIS, RENDEZVOUS, PINCE-NEZ, FAUX PAS, GARDEBRAS, PR�CIS; these don't require an extra 's', nor 's' taken away. So these don't fit into the formula. So who is correct, gazzawazzas or allan ivesss?
