back operation

Hubby had a back op a week last wed, L3 decompression and neurolysis.he is sleeping on his back and is desperate to sleep on his side,he thinks he did once while he was asleep.can he now sleep on his side do you think?

Providing he doesn't strain or pull his back in trying to turn he should be fine......I found that a pillow between my knees also took some of the pressure/pull, in the early days.
And DO remind him that when he gets out of bed 'spine in line'!!!
