What is the name of light around dawn / dusk? It's not twilight, but I think there is another word to describe it.

Thanks for your answers. Mrs T&S seems to think it has 'urnal' at the end, and isn't nocturnal.
Diurnal?

It's the opposite of nocturnal so not, strictly speaking, correct...
Yes, I think Jackinthehat is right. I have heard that word many times before.
Here in Dundee (Scotland) we call it gloaming.
diurnal animals are active during the day and nocturnal ones active during the night. Don't think these words have anything to do dawn/dusk.
