macbook air

the lid on my mac book air at the hinge the
plastic part between the hinges has broken,
which resulted in no desktop shown.the lid
is just floppy now.do you think it can be repaired
or is the laptop completely brocken.
please advise me,thanks....

hard to say without looking at it to be honest.

You'd obviously need a new hinge and/or the appropriate part of the case where it's brocken and then it would come down to has the screen cable been damaged or has it simply pulled the connector off the board, which is impossible to tell over the internet.

The laptop won't be completely brocken though, it will still work if you plug an external monitor into it.

ive been using mine held together with string and hooks for past year lol apparently the fairies dropped it (kids)
