Having lived in Wimbledon for many years the locals couldn't care less
They just breathe a huge sigh of relief when all the razzamataz has gone and they can get on a bus and round town in peace .
Mind you there are some up in the village who make huge amounts of money out of it. There is a museum you can visit .
But the courts are used for private members after the tornament and it's very exclusive .

I am sure it is, i knew someone who lived not far from wimbledon, and the moaning about the visitors was endless, forgetting how much money they can bring into the area, two weeks a year is hardly a problem.
