if i dont have enough money in my paypal and i buy something off ebay the money is automatically taken out of my account, so if have money in my paypal account can i then transfer it into my bank account

Why do that though?
If yu buy anything, not just from eBay, and use yr papyal account and there is not enough money in that account, the cash will automatically be drawn against your back up a/c be it credit card, debit card or direct from your bank a/c

Keep in mind there's a maximum amount you can transfer each month... here in the U.S. it's $500...

I found (being, basically anti-credit card) that applying for the Pay Pal credit card to make things a lot more simple. I use it only for Ebay transactions and pay it off each 30 days. It helps in keeping track of expenses. (I buy and sell vintage Ray Ban sunglasses)...

Exactly, heathfield... no one makes them of that quality anymore. I've actually purchased about 5 pair from a guy in Cambridge called archetypal designs... always has good quality Ray Ban's if I can get them at a good price...
