Star of the Sea is a masterpiece and I read it three times to glean the last bit of juice out of it that I may have missed the first time. Anyone else feel the same about this book?

I read it a couple of years ago with my Book Group. I really enjoyed it, but some of the group didn't. He is the brother of Sinead O'Connor the singer.
