it starts up and sounds like its printing when its finished a blank page comes out yet it takes the time it would normally to send the paper out whats wrong anyone help ?

Don't know. Does it have 'print test page' facility? try that.

It's almost certainly a simple problem with blocked jets.

Go to Start > Settings > Printers & Faxes
Right-click on the icon for your printer
Select 'Properties'
Look for a tab labelled 'Maintenance' (or similar), and click on it.
Look for something like 'Deep clean heads' (or similar)
Run it, then try a test print. (It can sometimes take several goes at cleaning the heads before anything starts to happen).

To avoid this problem in the future, tezmand, print at least one page (of anything, but something that uses all your printer's colours) at least once a month, just to keep the ink jets clear.
