have just learned that the survey report which my lender is buying from previous surveyors, as only a month old, has ben faxed to them on the wrong paper, it shud of been buy to let not residential so it has been refaxed. It was first sent to them 2 weeks ago and they have only just realised that they are still waiting for it! My question is would they have already noted the valuers comments on the survey and now its just a formality to get it on right paper or would they have totally disregarded that one until the correct formsat one came through?

well it's a fair point. How will anyone here know - wouldn't it be best to ask the lender what they will accept?

my broker spoke with them and they just said as the report was typed on the wrong paper they needed it on buy to let format, which they now have and the file was with the underwriters. I just wondered if anyone on here knew if they would of already noted them comments on the first report and would of raised any questions if necessary and the buy to let format was just a formality.
I thought the jobsworths had all been made redundant from the Financial Services industry. Obviously there are a few left lurking in the deep undergrowth.
