Hi everyone,

I am back on here under a new profile after a couple of years....

Hope you can help me out!

Has anyone had the above, and what should I expect from it? Recovery? The actual op etc? The belly button thing is freaking meout a little.

yep had one, was put out for it, they make a tiny tiny incesion next to belly button. Absolutely fine afterwards. Good luck xx

Hi xLilac. A number of years ago i had said op, the recovery was no problem - tummy was sore and a little bruised and wounds bled a little bit but not much. What do you mean by "The belly button thing"? all they do is make a tiny incition near the button and 1 about 3 inches down. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to pain and ops - but I found it a breeze.

Thanks guys, will wait and see. Belly Button thing was I htought they incised your actual belly button.....? That's what I heard anyway. Will read up on it, and check things out. Sure it will be fine. Thanks again :-)

Certainly not, lilac - my tiny scars are one about 2 ins below the belly button, then a couple of tiny ones beside it where they also put the camera in. They leave your belly button well alone, don't worry about that!
