I am gonna leave home this month...im 16, 17 in september....any last advice so that not too much of a fuss is caused at home?

Many are, or were, youngsters that "left home" for problems that were, essentially, solvable. Don't apply a long term solution to a short term problem...
You don't say whether you're a boy or girl, but it doesn't really matter... life out there alone is not something you can even begin to imagine... and it's not pretty.

Please think twice about it - how will you fund yourself through college, how will you feed and fund yourself? You can't expect your friend's parents to pay for your household expenses.

why are you leaving - can you support yourself, do you have anywhere to live. There is bound to be a fuss if you can't show that you are going to be able to look after yourself properly. Or is it that they want you to leave, in which case you should talk to social services or the local authority to see if they can help with housing etc.
