So excited...paid for holiday!!!!!

Woo hoo...my ex has just said that he will pay for my daughter and myself to go on holiday!!!!!
I'm looking at Egypt for the end of October [all inclusive probs] and would like a little help.
We both dive but have up until now only done day/over night stays in Egypt, I thought of Sharm first of, but as all we want is sun and sea would we be better off at one of the quieter resorts?
Any recommendations?

You will love Sharm, but stay near to the main town so there are nice places to walk in the evening, when we went a few years ago it was safe and I am sure it still is, lots of families, no lager louts etc. Enjoy !! We stayed in a Hilton next to Movenpick hotel by the way, there were two Hiltons, one on either side of the main road. if you stay there stay in a hotel on the beach side of the road (or if you stay in any hotel for that matter, make sure you don't have to cross the busy road at the back). Try Marsa Alam a lot quieter - we went to Brayka Bay Last Year it was beautiful - also done the Nile and Luxor also great, would go back to both, but Brayka Bay was like being away from it all!!
