That assumes that the driver keeps his speed down to 60mph. (Add 10% to 15% to the cost if he drives at 70 to 75mph). Further it assumes that the tyre pressures are correct for the load. (Add 10% to the cost if they're not). Lastly, it assumes that the car is fairly lightly loaded (e.g. two adults and a couple of suitcases). Add 10% to the cost if, for example, there are 5 adults with lots of luggage.
