Why can't he just say 'No' - that's free, and then he can give £1,000 a day to a Battered Women's Refuge?

Surely better use of his time, and money?

he needs a reality check.
Ah but you women never take, "No" , for an answer. I find their guard service well worth the money.
do you mind OG, don't lump us all together, many women haven't the slightest interest in these peabrains, just because they can kick a ball around a pitch, they are mostly uneducated numptys with little going for them apart from a few footballing skills.
He is an ar$ehole!!!
He wouldn't stray if he was 'fixed' - works with tom cats.

Pathetic individual. I much preferred the Sooty story - that was real news.
Do you actually believe that he's hired this guy or team because of women? Many celebrities hire bodyguards (Close protection) to protect them from injury, death and kidnapping AS WELL as over zealous/obsessive fans.
This was talked about on 'This Morning'. The consensus was that he'd hired a guard for different reasons and this is just the spin the tabloids have put on it.
sadly i suffer the same fate as ashley with the girls and stuff. fortunately when i go out with my mate des he normally makes them shy away - usually in horror.
This man (and I use the term man loosely) is a piece of s**t !!!
Do you know him??? Wow...that's a claim to fame Notas....

Or...wait a minute..!! You don't believe everything you read in the redtops do you?

Ashley Cole is hardly President Obama is he!

he doesn't 'need' a bodyguard to protect himself when he's out - all he has to do is what loads of people far more famous than he is do - walk quite quickly, don't make eye contact. It's as easy as that!

There are TV newsreaders, actors, pop stars, politicians, none of them need bodyguards!

The fact is - and i speak as someone who has walked in public with a number of seriously famous people - most people will look twice, and when they get home, they'll say, I saw someone who looked exactly like --- today.

The fact is, human nature dictates that famous people don;t actually do what we do, walk around, go shopping, etc., so the standard reaction is that it is a lookalike - so Ashley can rest easy that no-one is going to jump on him - like they haven't up to now!

Of course, if you walk round with a bloke who is six foot four and as far across with a tight suit and sunglasses, looking for a fight, then yes, you will attract attention - maybe that's what he wants - to be noticed!
Yes Andy....and I've seen/spoke to famous people (not many I must add) (Oh, I also must add...not that famous...lol)

I don't think it's the fact that he needs someone to stop him doing the 'dirty deed'...More a case of, don't allow me to get into a scenario that can be misinterpreted....by them friggin, lying, redtops!!

And how is that supposed to help?

A Cole - "I wasn't anywhere near that girl, I did not end up in a hotel room with her smearing yoghurt on my bits while she plugged in the vacum cleaner - and I've got a witness!

Yes I know I'm paying him a grand a day, but that doesn't mean I can get him to lie for me does it ...

Oh heck, I haven't really thought this through have I ...."
according to the DM followed by an article in the Daily Star - pleeeeese
Looool....

How about...

"you do this Mr Cole and it WILL end up in the (whatever takes NOTW's place) Sunday papers....don't be a silly fool"
