why would you called your sons Marmaduke and Huckleberry? They sound like names for your dogs.

Huckleberry Finn comes to mind,
Wasn't there a chap with one leg called Marmaduke Hussey ran the BBC a few years back?
Marion Mitchell Morrison (born Marion Robert Morrison, better known as
John Wayne, no wonder he changed his name..
Yes Sandy there was come to think about it. It's an old type name anyway but IMO it doesn't fit in for youngsters today but that's just a personal slant on it.
Your right hollie, they sound like two Great Danes lol
with a dad like bear grylls they were never going to get a normal name were they ;)
My students include a Pepper, a Tabatha and a Lucky- all of which sound like pet names to me
// Wasn't there a chap with one leg called Marmaduke Hussey ran the BBC a few years back? // can you remember what was the name of his other leg?
My Mother was called "Olive Green"

>>>>Wasn't there a chap with one leg called Marmaduke Hussey ran the BBC a few years back?<<<<<

Why did he only give a name to one of his legs?
When I was a kid I wished I'd had a more interesting name I was one of three Annettes however I do think of Marmaduke as a name for a great dane Huckleberry is a bit 'precious' still a friend is a nursery school teacher and one of her charges apparently has the first name Tromble where the fluff did they get that from
The weirdest has to be Jason Lee's son who's named 'Pilot Inspektor Lee' - I kid you not!
Zephyr reminds me of two things - the Red Hot Chilli Peppers song and teh zephyr's my dad used to drive as kids - it was the only car big enough to fit all us kids in the back.
We had a terrible accident in one, on the way back from Hunstanton one sunday. Dad had only bought in 2 days previously - we had a tyre blow out & went upside down. Mum dad & baby brother were hurt, but not seriously.

Sorry - I get distracted.

I qutie like Huckleberry. Marmaduke reminds me of a ginger cat - not good.
pmsl @ Tromble - poor child!
You'd go a long way to beat the choices of Alex James (bass player from Blur) and his wife -

son Geronimo, twin boys Artemis and Galileo, and daughters Sable and Beatrix.
I love Alex James - I could forgive him anything, even if he'd called his children Salt and Pepper.
(Not keen on Geronimo....)
Geronimo is just the Spanish version of Jerome, isn't it?
Three men in a boat by Geronimo K Geronimo somehow doesn't have the same ring to it
