Oh man, - memories of maths lessons with Mr Swindale. Immediate switch-off of brain I'm afraid.
I just about scraped through my Maths O Level 45 years ago, I'd rather not go there again... I do still try to do multiplication and long division rather than using a calculator, although I always check!
I have a mental block when it comes to anything other than basic maths. I didn't even scrape though my o'level - barely a scratch in fact. Mr Swindale would have been absolutely gobsmacked to know that 20 years on that I would become a fund manager ;-)
Well it just goes to show - when we are at school, our talents are still hidden!
Yup - they never knew I could do the most tremendously loud and wet armpit farts...!
Salla, let me know if you can open this where you are - there is a wonderful para towards the end about "an honourable strong-minded woman standing up to ~ a mean rat-like prig" - I wrote Salla against the page as soon as I read it, re your recent "issues".... good on yer. http://www.independen...eir-past-2329618.html
boxtops, I for one thoroughly enjoyed reading that article, I am not of any particular political persuasion but how nice to find an honest open politician who is not afraid to speak her mind we could do with a few more like that.

Ron.
That's what I thought Ron, and the parallels with salla's "sneak" came straight to my mind!
