Job Application-Education
Hi.
I am trying to fill out an application form for the first time in over 20 years.
I'm a bit stuck on the education bit.
I left school in 1979. 30 yrs ago.
I was not the brightest kid in school so there were no A or O levels. I sat basic CSE's. Maths,English, history and geography.
Anyway, I truly cannot remember the grades I got for those subjects. So how do I write this on the application without looking like a complete dimmo.

I personally think that the most important information, is your work history. Have a look at this and see if it helps. I am in the same boat as you. My jobcentre have offered someone to come and help me with mine.

Just write educated to CSE standard and then list the subects, if it is an admin job put English first.
the key things on the application form will be your handwriting, that you have answered the questions properly, (I used to get people applying and for Country of Birth they would write Wigan) , also write your employment history earliest first and if it asks for a brief description of your role, tailor it to emphasise the skills they are looking for in their advertisement.
