MM & KM Link Games August 2011 Wk3

In the MM Links game, the last two weeks have been a struggle to earn points. Often there were many possibilities

and it was all down to the ability to pick up King Jim's psychic vibes (aka 'chance). Last week I said that I would

try to get ex-queen Jools to use her affluence to bribe King Jim into giving away an abundance of points this

weekend. However, I am reliably informed that King Jim is an honourable monarch and would never accept bribes so it

all boils down to how successful Jools has been with her persuasion. Was she? Who knows? Find out tomorrow.

Tomorrow at 8:45am in Q&P 'King Jim' will post his introduction to the MM Links Game, followed at 9:00 with his

challenge words. You have to guess what words he has chosen to pair with these to form a well-known word or phrase.

To make it easier, they are all from 4 to 8 letters long. Anyone can play so join in whenever you want to but early

players stand more chance of bonus points.


Dont forget our sister game, the KM links based on Kate Mepham's GK crosswords in the Saturday/Monday Telegraph.

That game is run by Seekeerz from down under and kicks off at 7am. Don't worry about the early start there, the

bonus points are not time-sensitive in that game.

The 'Shrubbery' is now open. Not that it'll make much difference: recently, there has been more wildlife in here

than there have been people. I even saw a mink crossing a path this afternoon and if it gets to the points first,

then there'll be none left for you by morning. All the more reason to get in quickly at 9 am.
