Algeria signed the Rome Statute of the Intl Criminal Court in 2000 but is not a full signatory/ratifier so there must be an element of doubt to the enforcement. Enter Monsieur Sarcastic, stage door left, to exert due influence on its old colony.........
possibly - they would probably think it was still too dangerous to have him living next door. I doubt Algeria has any extradition treaties with anyone, but they might not want him either.

And it turns out Megrahi is dying after all, which will disappoint all those people who wanted him to be alive in order to prove how wicked Salmond is.
half of the Gadaffi family has gone there but not the man himself yet

Searching on twitter and have only seen one posting so far that "apparently" Gadaffi himself has fled there. Usually these tweets proliferate even if there is only a sniff of a chance of it being true.
Is Gadaffi on Twitter...?

Would he have been allowed to bring his harem of nubile bodyguards with him?
several of them claim he raped them, so they may have decided to give it a miss.

In the absence of the tyrant, it is being claimed that the heroic rebels are indiscriminately killing black people.
