I complained to Asda about buying 200 cigarettes. It is cheaper by about £1 and a bit to buy 200. So when the cashier said she only had 20's i had to pay the extra. Asda head office told me it would not happen again and managers would be told of the rules. Today in Asda there were no 200 sleeves. When i informed the cashier that I could have 10 packs for the price of a 200 sleeve she said that information had not been given to her. I know £1 20 is not a lot of money. So tell me, am I being unreasonable?

I don't know why they even told you that it wouldn't happen again as it's standard procedure for bulk or offers to be cheaper but this is usually subject to availability.
I'm surprised they even bothered lieing to you from head office in the first place. Probably easier lieing to you, by saying "it won't happen again" to get you off the phone than to tell you than they couldn't possibly cave in to your demands.
And to reiterate what someone has already said, no, we the till girls, do not open multipacks to put them on the shelves. They are banded "part of a multipack" and are without a barcode.
Yes, you're being unreasonable.
