AVG DOWNLOAD

Hi,can any body advise me please? I previously downloaded the free version of AVG. A little while later my PC crashed, it was sent for repair and taken back to basics. I have now gone to download AVG again and a message comes up saying "downloading this file can corrupt your PC.do you want to go ahead'. What should I do, and was this maybe the cause of it crashing before? Advice please as I need anti virus protection. Thanks.

Try downloading it from here (the orange area in the top right) where it says DOWNLOAD

Sorry that should be orange area in the top LEFT not RIGHT.

Thanks VHG, have now downloaded AVG. Still showed the same message but have taken the chance. All seems Ok at the mo.

If you still have problems with AVG, try the FREE "Avast" program which I have used for over eleven years now with no problems.
