Sim Lock Password

ok well I am 59 and not clued up on mobile phones. A froend gave me a samsung X450, i managed to unlock it and put a different network card in I have a signal, put it comes up saying "sim lock - enter password" i don't know what it is and nor does she can anyone help me please many thanks

Where did you get the sim card from snowdreamer, was it new or did someone give it to you?

it also says at the bottom sos does that mean anything

With your old phone did you have to type a 4 digit code in when you switched it on? It would be the same number that you entered previously on your relic ;o)
