can anyone help me please

I've been having this problem on & off for days..But cant seem to find whats causing it..I have however noticed that when the squiggly stalkers are about everything on my screen appears different...I think i need to either install or uninstall something but dont know what !! any ideas anyone ??

My first idea is to suggest you install and use Firefox as a browser from http://www.getfirefox.com as this won't try anything fancy like text formatting on this site.

This won't actually fix what's causing all the code that's appearing in your posts. That's probably caused by something that you've installed (as you suggested). It'll most likely be one of the small programs that adds smileys to your emails or that kind of thing. I have no idea what you've got installed there, so I can only guess.

thanks Ralph I've got mozilla firefox...Just cant figure out what I've installed to cause it again..

It was like this when I first came on I didn't do anything & it just stopped then came back again

It is really driving me mad !!!

Purely by accident, I've just come across another post with a similar problem here. Their code is very similar to yours, except it goes on a bit more and, importantly, contains the words "hotbar_promo". If you've installed Hotbar, your code problems will probably disappear if you get rid of it. Start with the Add/Remove Programs bit in Control Panel then have a look at the instructions here. If you're not confident editing the registry as it says, then either create a restore point if you're using XP, or have a look at the Hotbar uninstall programs linked to on that page. Good luck!

Thanks again Ralph I looked for hotbar before but it doesn't seem I have it this is really getting me down now....I dont understand why it keeps coming & going ??

Just found & deleted 270 hotbar files but still have the problem any ideas anyone ?
