u wanna try the surf shops like quiksilver, le sport etc.they usually do stuff like this i know i found a pink pair of mittens in quiksilver xmas time last year n i think i have seen sum this year:)

i think you can buy the "string" from some shops. they have little crocodile clips on the ends and you attach them to your mittens. cute, huh? yeah checkout surf/snow shops. they should have them

you could buy any mittnes you liked and just add the string yourself. I put elastic on mine and then cut the elastic just big enough so that it comes about an inch below my cuff, maybe less actually, maybe 1/4 of an inch. That way when I take my mitts off, they are not flapping around. I can wear them and the elastic stops them slipping down and that constant pulling them back up thing.

You could also make a string with a crochet hook and a matching yarn. Just do a slip stich and one chain repeatedly until you get a string. Sew onto mitts, or attach press studs or something if you wanted quick release mitts.

Good luck

Why do any of that? why not just buy aduly mittens out of H&M or something and then get some wool to make your own "string thing" its really easy!!! just like stitch the wool to the inside of the cuffs of the mittens!!! good luck and merry christmas! x
