hewlett packard printer problem.

Hi ,

my mum has a hewlett packard 8250 printer , she uses the hp software supplied with it to edit / print her photos.

now the problem is that recently i installed a canon scanner so she could scan some old photos, when she had done it i uninstalled the canon software but since then the hp software doesnt seem to "see" her pictures folder at all ,making it pretty much useless.

i presume theres a conflict created somewhere maybe caused by the canon scanner, i have uninstalled and re-installed hp software several times but its still the same .

Any ideas as to what i can try to get the hp software to work again?

I had similar problems with my HP scanner/printer and realised that not everything gets removed when uninstalling.
I used the following to remove the HP system, re-installed and it's OK now.
