Hi all, wasn't sure where to put this, but was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on what to get staff as a thank you gift. I have been on placement, due to finish in a 2 weeks and it has been absolutely amazing! The best one I have ever been on, staff have been amazing and made me feel like one of them right from the start. Anmy ideas would be a great help as I have none at all! lol Thanks all xxx

It's a hospital ward, so quite a few staff members haha, about 20ish maybe? Haven't really made a limit yet, as not sure what's available to get, if that makes sense xx
A box of good quality biscuits, lots in supermarkets now in the build up to Xmas
Hi Roxie in most cases like this a tin of Roses or two? would be the norm as a thank you gesture as there are a few of them
why not bake or buy some really posh cupcakes for your final tea break with them!........sure they'd enjoy!.......not too costly, and not very hard to do, if you need help, let me know, be happy to help you!........
Do they have a christmas party/christmas drinks? You could put some money aside for a drink for everyone
maybe a lottery ticket each??
Even more appropriate; a health lottery ticket?
that's even better sophie :-)

whats a health lotterly ticket? LOL. Thanks all, I seriously had no idea haha, first time that I've bought a gift, well going to buy, as although I've given cards in the past thanking people, the staff on this ward have been awesomly great! I'm not sure what a great cook I am where baking is concerned LOL so may have a look at what's available xx
it's a lottery ticket from the NHS as I understand it?
the money, therefore goes back into a good service
roxie, you can bake unbelievable posh cupcakes with a little help!..........in a high class bakery they cost about £2.50 each!..........you can easily make them for around 50p to 60p each!........they can be stunning, and a personal little gift!.........if you wand a recipe etc let me know!.....

Thanks Welshy :D that sounds great :), I may well be hounding you for some! In fact if you don't mind I would like some, even if I just end up doing them for myself ;) to have a practise lol xx
It only started today roxie (and I don't think much of it to be honest!) but if you are going down the lottery ticket route thought a health related one would make it seem a bit special!
