Xmas presents

Does anyone have any idea what I could get my gran for Xmas - she is 91!!

Where I live we have a wonderful shop called "past times". It has lovely things in there that the older generation love to reminice over.

I work in a nursing home and the older generation love to talk about the things they did or had in the past. Try to find out what her favorite sweets or perfume were - if you could produce those at christmas it will rekindle all kinds of memories.

Music too, maybe a tape/cd with the likes of Vera Lynn.

In general, I find that this generation just love to talk about their past - and if you have time to listen they have some wonderful stories to tell.
