Hi All,

I have a Mazda TS2, 07 Plate and the central locking key fob is not working.

I have spoken with Mazda and they suggest changing the battery, but haven't been able to tell me what battery it takes.

Can anyone tell me what battery I will need?

Thanks

It's probably a cr2025 )(most are)

But why not take the current one out and see what it says on it?

(also, isn't ts2 a model, as in you can get a mazda2 TS2, a mazda3 TS2 or a mazda6 TS2?)

Thanks.

Do you know how change the battery? Is it just a case of forcing the casing open with a battery.

Also, will the immobiliser cease to work, if I don't replace the battery quick enough after taking it out?

Depends what sort it is (you've still not made it clear what car you have, is it a Mazda 2,3,6 or a.n. other)

If it's this type

Then pry it apart with a blunt knife.

remove the emergency key and there should be a rubber tap visible, pull that out and the battery should be there.
