laminate flooring
3 Answers
I'm going to start to lay some laminate flooring, what I want to know is, after taking out the spacers from around the edges when laying the floor you are left with a 10mm gap all around, what is going to stop the floor from moving? I know that you fix quadrant all around to cover the gaps, but surely that wont eradicate the possibility of the floor moving. Hope i'm making myself clear, lol. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Either of these, plus the weight of the laminate itself will be sufficient to stop movement. I finished a laundry room recently that was 6' X 8', and even that small of a room had no movement of the flooring.
Good luck!
