can you freeze fresh yeast? Asda will give it to you for nothing and I had quite a bit left over after making some bread. Can't waste it and not sure how long I can keep it in the fridge.

My Mother in law was Polish and never bought bread. She used to freeze her yeast and her bread was gorgeous.
