Can anyone tell me why every so often my computer starts sounding really loud, and goes slow,

Then when i do ctrl, alt, delete it says cpu usage 100%, and its either iexplorer, or spydoctor thats using it all.

Is there a way i can stop it doing this?

Thanks in advance :)

Delete spy doctor off your machine it means it has a problem. If it is using 100%

Use a program like adaware instead of spy doctor uses less system resourses.

Don't know if this is any help, but Ive had similar problems with CPU usage at 100% - its not Iexplorer (Internet explorer) , but just Explorer.exe (Without the I :-)) - the main cause of this could be a corrupt downloaded movie file (Avi/mpeg) - if you get rid of the file the problem seems to go away ?

Check the amount of free hard drive and delete some files. Computers usually go slow when they run out of memory or virtual memory. If you are low on ram close down any programs you are not using. Consider buting some more ram - 512kb is the recomended minimum. The processor working at 100% shouldn't affect the speed.
