Change my AB name

I've used the name Coldicote on AB for about 5 years and wish I had chosen something different from the outset - rather than the name of my grandparents' home!! Am I allowed to change it and amend my details? If so, how?

No. The only way to change it is to open a new account.

I beieve the problem is that the name is the one thing all the rest of the account it connected to, change the name it's a different account. Still, worth asking I suppose.

I guessed it might be a bit tricky but thanks for your thoughts. Wonder if there's a way of closing my existing account or do I just abandon it? Seems I'll have to ask Ed.

You can ask Ed to close it. Your answers will remain but your account will become inactive :-)

Well, it looks as though I shall have to just abandon my familiar name and sign up as a new-comer. Don't think I have ever used Editor's blog, but how else should I let Ed know? I haven't decided yet, but if and when I do I'll post a message saying bye-bye.
