Hi there, I have a double crown tooth and it's forever coming loose, when I contact my dentist it takes him seconds to re-fix at a cost of £20 then a few days later it's loose again, can anyone tell me what adhesive to use so I can do it myself. Thank you for any advice.

Seriously - I'd change your dentist.
Unless there's very little root left on your tooth for the crown to stick to - they should not be coming loose. I have a single crown and a bridge and they are a permanent fixture.
If you are after something to fix it yourself, there might be something readily available out there, but I'm sorry I can't help on this as i've never heard of anything :(
Gizmonster is right, you need to change your dentist. When my crown was fixed the tooth was dried and I had to keep my mouth open until the adhesive had time to work, it definitely took more than seconds. No eating on it for a couple of hours was advised too. I've had mine two years and no problems , touch wood!
My crowns never fall off (fingers crossed). If yours keep falling off, it might need a pin in it. Change your dentist (and if you are only paying £20, count yourself lucky, btw!)
^^ short term, you can buy a kit in Boots - I never go on holiday without one, just in case, good for emergency treatment for lost fillings, too http://www.boots.com/...l%20First%20Aid%20Kit
Boxtops how strong is the adhesive and can it stick metal fillings back in, if so how long for?
It would be well worth finding out where your nearest Dental Hospital is. Newcastle Bristol Dundee and London are the only ones I know but there may be more. Students do the work which is supervised by clinicians and is free. You can even have root canal work crowns and bridges done if you have the time to attend lengthy appointments. Some of the 5th year students are extremely proficient, and are armed with all the latest procedures and treatments. Of course as soon as they qualify, they are off looking for a placement with an established dentist who can charge £20 to stick a crown back in place! Dental treatment is a disgrace in this country. Unlike GPs who want to see you as little as possible in their surgeries, dentists have a vested interest in getting you in their chairs as often as possible, because the more work they do, the more money they make. This means, as with the American private healthcare model, even NHS dentists have unlimited scope for doing unnecessary work. I have been a victim of this myself on several occasions.

Try the above link to find a school or hospital near you. Most will have emergency/casualty departments.
I smashed my two front teeth in an accident about 50 years ago and had then both capped. In that time I've had them replaced twice. I yours are coming off that often I'd definitely be looking for another dentist
Beaky, they'll stay on for a good while, but obviously it's not the same as going to the dentist and getting a proper fixing. One of my crowns is on a dodgy stump of tooth (not so much left) so has two pins in it, they are screwed into the tooth then glued to the crown. I think this is what OP needs - crowns should not fall off!
Last week my dentist told me that the biggest problem with some crowns is locating the fitting exactly before sticking it back. He did,at last. £30 please!
As my crowns cost £600 each I'd be well annoyed if they came loose.
