Using a 50 inch plasma as a computer screen - can it be done?

Thinking of buying a 50 inch plasma as our meeting room TV to plug in a pc/laptop for presentations and software presentations, oftne with many figures in small fonts to look at.

Question is, how do you connect a pc/laptop/mac up to it?!

Well if your PC or laptop has HDMI output (some have) then you can plug a HDMI cable into the laptop and the other end in the TV.

All laptop will have a graphics out socket (for plugging in an external monitor) so yo ucan use that to conect it to your TV.

Thanks for the answers - so a plasma WONT work with a laptop? I just cant see any screen pc-wise that is large enough?

ye a plasma will work with you computer, they all have a VGA port on the back and will work as a pc monitor.

You'd be better off with a LCD screen though, plasma screens can get screen burn very easily so displaying static menu bars on them for any time isn't a good idea.

Thanks all - I bought a 42inch in the end, and took the advice about the LCD - and went with one of them, not plasma.
