I've just had a 'phone call cancelling my one appointment of the day, due to industrial action.
The sun is shining (Dover area) so it looks as if it's Dogs to the beach again in a couple of hours.
What are you guys doing that you wouldn't normally do on a midweek day?

Absolutely nothing I wouldn't normally do on a midweek day. well except that there's another lull in work so I'm bored out of my mind, which is why I'm spending more time looking in here that is good for my mental health.

I`ve just heard that at Heathrow, there are loads of people milling around the immigration area wearing sashes that say "here to help" and there are lots of tables set up with water, crisps are chocolate. The queues are no worse than usual so it`s a bit like someone throwing a party but nobody came.
went to the paper shop earlier on and he had loads of papers left, said to me it has been very quiet.
not much traffic on the lane this morning so there must be lots of people on strike up here
Its beautiful & sunny here too & I've got a hosp app't which has not been cancelled.
Later I'll be writing Christmas cards out. (only do it once a year)

I'm logged on here while at work - boo, hiss etc etc
