TalkTalk email problems still going on ...........

Hi any other Abers still got no emails if you are with TalkTalk? I rang them at 23.30 last night and they said it was a technical issue all over the country as they were "upgrading our systems" to provide a better service (some hopes! and nice of them to warn us beforehand!!) They promised faithfully all my emails "would be in my In Box" in the morning but just logged on and the fault is still there (asking for user name and password again and again) I can't get through to the technical team so thought I would ask on here if its still ongoing or just mine playing up now ...........GRRRR

What a dreadful company, can't leave TalkTalk as I'm tied into a contract and would be too expensive to change providers. I am tearing my hair out as I have so much to do ....

No it wouldn't, open a free gmail account with Google, get it to import all of your emails & hey presto your fixed. You can still keep your TalkTalk email open but just don't use it in the future,just notify all of your contacts of your change of email.

Just rang TalkTalk again - GRRR I'm in a real BAD MOOD now - technical help team told me the engineers are still working on it but could be another 24 hours!! (its already been off since 3pm Monday) says it a "global problem???" and that only a few customers haven't had their emails restored - I'm one of the unlucky ones! STORY OF MY LIFE!!
