take to person that works in a local computer repair shop and ask if they have the software to reset the windows password. (which is scarily easy and quick to do with the correct software!)
Neildown - I've never heard of the alt ctrl del thing before...
But, if you know how to get in to safe mode, you can change your pass via the administration user (when safe-mode is loaded up) - just go start > control panel > user accounts. Then pick your usual account, and change the password. Restart the computer and login normally.
I think the scariest thing of all is when people answer questions when they don't know the answer.
If the top one's right the next 2 are both wrong and if either of the next 2 are right then the "reinstall system" seems a bit of an overkill for the sake of a password.
