my local.................and I am pished. One blues guitarist, and nine people sat round in a semi circle listening quite select don't you think. Shame about the girl on the bar stool who thought she knew all of the words, laugh or what. Quite attractive though. Hic.

I have seen plenty of that when I was a coach driver believe me. There is nothing funnier than watching a group of toffee nosed people get pi55ed during the course of an evening.

"Quite select"???

I assume that the pub landlord says "We have a select clientèle in this pub" as a euphemism for "Bloody 'ell, if trade doesn't pick up soon, I'll be bankrupt!".

So few people in a pub on a Friday night (unless you really were in a 'select' bar, while the rest of the pub was packed) is a bit worrying!

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your evening. I, of course, am totally sober (and have absolutely no knowledge of how this wine bottle on my desk became to be empty!).

I went out the other night (just bowling with the kids) and took great pleasure in watching a girl and lad do the whole "dance mat" stuff in the arcade area. It was SO funny!
They were clearly quite pissed!! I even recorded it on my phone! LOL
