I sent mine to my local SA, I think the staff in my local designated shop look dishonest;)

If that's what you think CS then you did the right thing. Bought a couple of toys for the "Giving Tree" in our local shopping centre so hopefully they go in the right direction.
That's a bit stiff for what are volunteers....I think that is appalling.
They're not all volunteers DT, some of them are criminals on community service, my sister had to do it when she was convicted of benefit fraud... she should have been locked up imo considering the amount she defrauded.

I'm talking about the staff in the High Street shop, a well known shop. Not the SA!!! I have heard whisperings the staff help themselves to donated items, that why I posted them.
Ok that makes sense then, so apologies.....
some people are doing community sentences in many charity shops, but should work well with supervision!

you sound a bit prejudiced, so please be more generous in spirit, as you are in life?

Oh for goodness' sakes....how do you think these people get their feet on the ladder to be rehabilitated? They need to start somewhere. The local homeless charity I work for often uses the help of our clients in our charity shop...and yes-many are offenders and users. But if no one gives them a hand or opportunity-what chance do they have?
Just saw your comment that it's the High St shop...I suspect that may happen any where...including major shops. Unfortunate, really.

Our shop is part of the SA appeal and I can reassure you that nothing like that goes on.. In our shop at least. You would have to be pretty sick to do that.
