norton security renewal

needing to upgrade the norton version of security to the 2012 one.£60 automatic renewal but found a website to download new version for £23. SAVER POINT.COM. anyone ever used this company and is it legit??? thank you.

AND .. since 2009 there has been a proper removal tool that removes everything, including all registry entries.
If you have a bad experience, it's likely because of a problem with you, or your PC .. not Norton.

I'm with Norton and about to renew/upgrade at the same time as you jaberwocky.

My decision is to stick with it and do my best to get it renewed from Symantec without having to rebuy or reinstall it for less than £30. I think my renewal is around £60 too but like my car insurance, I will not pay what they're asking and will see if I can get a requote. Here goes, I'll let you know how I get on!

Just remove it (it comes off easy these days) and load a new download version with serial. Easy to do now .. (especially if you register on Norton Account)

I have used Trend for years - it was once called pc-cillin. It is thoroughly trustworthy. In addition, I also have Trusteer Raport which can be downloaded free with certain e.bank accounts. Therefore I have double securiy. I have just renewed my Trend which was I think £39.50 or there abouts. I consider it money well spent as I've never had any trouble whatsoever. Don't used Norton!!!
