When you're dealing with a company, do you prefer the boss to have a great car (which suggests he's successful) or a modest car (which suggests he's not a rip-off merchant)?
Sorry, but it isn't a factor I would ever take into account.
Are you doing some research for a survey?
If so and you don't get enough answers on here there may be an alternative way of doing the research.
I have had a few builders round to give me quotes for work and if one turns up in a huge fancy Range Rover it puts me off straight away (even before they come in the house).
I know the quote is going to be high and I will almost certainly not use them.
If the builder turns up in a modest car and starts discussing the ins and out of the job I know they are probably better at getting the job done so I am more likely to deal with them.
how they appear has no interest to me, we all know that most salesmen good and bad are normally dressed very smartly and drive executive cars which are probably leased or hp, I am more interested in how they conduct their business and what they say. (waffle or otherwise)
