I hate shopping in the sales. I went with mum and she got some gorgeous boots half price from Clarks though. I never got anything :|

Best bargain was bought before sales actually: Nicky Clarke hair straighteners retail £75 on special at Tesco for £35 and with clubcard exchange I got a further £20 off so well pleased. Most of sales around here seem to be stocked with clothes that never made it to the shops at full price-some absolute rubbish in Top Shop, River Island & Republic-only shop actually selling previously full priced stock was Monsoon.

oh i forgot, hubby got a dremill drill doo dad marked down from £70 to £25 today. need to keep hunting for my tumble dryer!

A lovely new winter coat for £45 which was also brought with christmas vouchers so I didn't spend a penny :c)

Wow, that is a bargain Carrust! Aww Erin, I'm not great at shopping generally but managed to find some bargains this time, stuff I really needed though - quite mundane - jeans as seams going on mine and now too big (them not me haha -woohoo!), a watch after mine stopped a month or so ago, work tops and nightware to replace ones which are a bit too old/worn/big or seams started going etc... Oh and a snood thing for a couple of quid which is sooo nice, wish I'd tried one sooner! Oh and some bounceback pillows, 2 for £6 as mine squashed and a bit old now.

So been more sensible with things I've needed but just been able to get much cheaper (and better quality than I could have otherwise like in Primani and such).

I had some vouchers from work so was able to use those for a lot of things and with what I got in H&M you get £5 off your next spend over £5 is you produce your receipt! So not spent much at all, really been a huge help.

I've found some of the sales quite strange - lots of summer stuff! I had to laugh at the pound shop mega sale though :) Monsoon sale looked really good but still too expensive for me right now - didn't look round the other ones as above my budget too but had a nose in Monsoon and pretty things in Accesorize.

Yes indeedy...didn't go out looking for owt but came back with 2 wedding suits, one each for Mr M and future son-in-law, £17.50 each! Also got myself some dog walking boots £35 down to £9.99.

Ahhh haha! DIY? I have a half built filing cabinet which has stayed half built for about 3 years now as I just gave up and keep forgetting it's lurking in a cupboard! Not much chance of getting on a sofa here haha, he'd have to fight the cats for it!

Cold today in Manchester but sunshine and blue skies for once! I was hoping for some bargain bras in M&S but just wanted a comfy plain black work bra in a large cup size and none of them reduced :( At least the shops weren't so manic today - seriously I don't know what sale do to some people!
