2 years after being widowed daughter nagged me "to DO something, you get home from work shut the curtains and do nothing" so I did. Went on a Solo's weekend. I lived in L'Spa and there was one advertised in Stratford on Avon, I talked myself out of that one as too near home if I got cold feet. So I went to one in Nottingham. So nervous but they put you at ease, at dinner he was sitting 2 away from me. I though mmm he looks ok, he asked me for a dance later and that was the start of it. He lived in Powys so it was a long distance relatiionship for 2 years until he moved to be with me and we have been together 21 years now,

She'd gone to the same school as my sister but three years behind her and they was gossiping out side the local Tesco. After that no matter where I went Trish seemed to be there and one thing led to another. That was 30 years ago and I don't know how I managed for the 30 years before that.
