Ha, ha BOO.

Apparently BOO, wolves are a threatened species, so they are bred in captivity. They also have had very bad press. In general they leave humans well alone - they are not what they are made out to be.
You can buy wolf-dog puppies...

Don't under estimate people's stupidity B00.
Don't think the UK is ideal for Wolfdogs Pasta. I can see how they might be good in Alaska and as working dogs out in the wilds.

Those puppies are gorgeous.
Aren't they?
I think this sort of breeding is far more acceptable and common in the States.
This is a picture of our little dog who is sadly departed now.

Apparently his ancestors are wolves !!! ;o)

Hmmmmm, makes you think
When we got Coco at a year old we were told she was a collie/lurcher cross and at 21 kilos wouldn't get much bigger, she's now 30 months, 31 kilos and we estimate she has 55 other breeds in her DNA!
From the evidence of my own eyes I can see that they do make a lovely, if large, pet. LoftyLottie is correct in saying that wolves get a bad press. The wolf dog I saw - and it genuinely was, as the vet's receptionist, who was listening in, confirmed - was acting like a normal dog.
LoftyLottie, your dog was cute. Well they are all supposed to be descended from wolves, and it is hard to see how all breeds have the same ancestor, but all dogs recognise other dogs as the same species so there must be something in it.
Bloody short wolves Lottie! LOL

But what a cutie he was xx
He was lovely BOO. I still have my JR cross though. He was an old boy when he died. We rescued him when he was six - he had been ill treated.
Fine looking animal masma! A collie terrier cross was the best hill dog I ever had.
Ha, ha, Masma, we took on a puppy from the Dogs Trust who was meant to be a cross collie/lab, and ended up looking like a cross Staffie/Whippet!!!!
Interesting Bambi. Just wondering whether they would be classed as a domestic animals though and what their standing would be regarding dangerous dogs, etc., ie. would you be allowed to keep one in a domestic environment and take it out on the streets, etc.
I am a member of the Yorkshire Terrier and Small Breeds Rescue. They are very good if you are ever looking for a replacement for your lovely little dog.
