Is it just a place to gossip, somewhere you go when you are bored, or a special place that nobody knows about, where you can ask anything you like? Or something else?

Started coming on to get answers to crosswords etc but found it was so much more than that. ABers kept me company to see in the New Year otherwise I would have been on my own feeling sorry for myself. Feel I can ask anything and hopefully help out at times. Long live AB.
