I thought you put currants into Welsh cakes but I have seen recipes saying its sultanas. Anyone know? Thanks

Currants
I was gonna say much the same bednobs - what does it matter?

I think sultanas are like baby slugs (yeuch), will make them with currants (well, I will buy the stuff and um and ah about it and maybe make them some time in the future).
So dried up baby slugs rather than nice juicy ones?

It's the squishy bit I don't like (don't get me started on blueberries).
and lychees - they remind me of eyeballs
does it matter, one being dried grapes and the other dried currants like red or black....I guess it is a taste thing, so sherrard, whatever you like or what you have at hand. From what I know of sheep food, both are fully acceptable....
They are both dried grapes though, surely?
yes both dried grapes just different varieties and drying methods
